Race Format

How the Triple Crown Series works — from classes and motos to team competition and stage points.

450 Pro Class
Canada's top professional motocross riders on 450cc machines. Two motos per round. Combined moto scores determine overall round results and championship points. The premier class of the Triple Crown Series.
250 Pro Class
The 250 Pro class showcases Canada's rising stars on 250cc machinery. Two motos per round with its own championship standings, separate from the 450 Pro title. A valid MRC pro license is required.
WMX Class
Women's Motocross competition at the national professional level. WMX riders compete across all eight rounds of the 2026 season with full championship points and their own season title up for grabs.
Team Competition
Two-rider teams combine their individual points into a single team score. The team with the most combined points across the season wins the Triple Crown Team Championship — a format unique to the TCS.
Points & Scoring
Points are awarded on the standard MX scale after each moto. Overall round scores are based on combined two-moto results. Stage points provide additional championship opportunities at the end of each stage.
