How It Works

Everything you need to know about the Triple Crown Series format — three pro classes, team competition, and a three-stage championship.

450
450 Pro Class
The flagship class featuring Canada's top professional motocross riders on 450cc machinery. Two motos per round with championship points awarded to top finishers. Riders compete individually for the 450 Pro title while also scoring for their team.
250
250 Pro Class
Canada's next generation of professional talent on 250cc bikes. Two motos per round. The 250 Pro championship runs parallel to the 450 class with its own title and points structure. A MRC pro license is required for all competitors.
WMX
WMX Class
The Triple Crown Series proudly features Women's Motocross competition across all eight rounds, providing top-level racing opportunities for Canada's elite female riders and growing the sport at the national level.
Team Competition
Teams consist of two riders — typically one 450 Pro and one 250 Pro. Combined points from both riders at each round determine team standings. Factory-backed and privateer teams compete under the same banner for the prestigious team championship.
Points System
Moto results award individual championship points on the standard MX scale. Stage points are awarded to the overall stage winner at the conclusion of Rounds 2, 5, and 8. Championship and stage points both factor into final season standings.
Stage Format
The season is divided into three distinct stages. Stage 1 covers Rounds 1–2, Stage 2 covers Rounds 3–5, and Stage 3 covers Rounds 6–8. Each stage culminates in a stage championship, building momentum into the Season Finale at Walton Raceway.
